What is COT function in Excel?
COT function is one of the Math and Trig functions in Microsoft Excel that return the cotangent of an angle specified in radians.
Syntax of COT function
COT(number)
The COT function syntax has the following arguments.
- Number: The angle in radians for which you want the cotangent.
COT formula explantion
- The absolute value of Number must be less than 2^27.
- If Number is outside its constraints, COT returns the #NUM! error value.
- If Number is a non-numeric value, COT returns the #VALUE! error value.
- COT(0) returns the #DIV/0! error value.
Example of COT function
Steps to follow:
1. Open a new Excel worksheet.
2. Copy data in the following table below and paste it in cell A1
